Everything is blurry!

I haven't been to bed in 38 hours, so if I make typos, you're gonna have to live with them. Becky, I and some friends went to Kareoke last night at a local joint. It is always so much fun. Usually more family goes, but they bailed on us last night. You all know who you are...Laura, Randy, Angie and Josh!!!!! Next time for sure.

Here is a picture of Randy and Laura. Randy is my brother, and Laura is his wife. They are a lot of fun, even if they are old. Anyway got to tell you a funny story. Randy is a school bus driver. Last week a kid puked all over him. I don't know why, maybe it is lack of sleep, but that is just so funny to me. Everytime I think about it I laugh until I cry. I know he wouldn't tell me something like that happened to him because I would never let him live it down. So, tell me big brother wht did the kid have for lunch? BWAHAHAHAHAHAH. Your daugher rated you out. On the left is a picture of Angie and her husband Josh. Angie is my favorite niece. Well at least today she is. Actually her and I are more like brother/sister.

Ok, enough! I can't see anymore, and my butt is killing me.

The Telephone

I hate the telephone! Sometimes when it rings, I walk away from it. Ok, I mean I roll away from it. So far today I have talked with Disney World 2 times, Sprint because the screwed up my cell bill for the 5th straight month, and a friend of Becky's who I am helping out planning her family's trip to Disney World. I liked the phone when I was younger, but now every ounce of my being hates it. I used to have to wear a headset where I worked for 8 hours per day and talk to about 80-90 people per day. I think that is the reason I hate the phone now.

Enough about the phone. I know some of you are my sick and twisted Disney Buddies, but some of you that read my blog don't know all about a web site that I read. I say read because I have been booted from the site about 5 times. I can't seem to keep my mouth shut. I've always had a real problem with that. Guess I'm a little to outspoken, and not to politically correct at times. We have a family friend going through a rough time right now and they talk to Becky more than me because in Becky's words, I am not theraputic enough. I guess being theraputic is one of those things you learn in nursing school. I am better than I used to be. At least I think so. I would ask all your opinions, but I'm afraid to. LOL!!!!! Just ignore that last sentence.

Not really much going on in my little neck of the woods today. There never is. Becky, Seth and I went out for a family dinner last night to Jack's Steak House. It is sooooooooo good! I love their steaks. It's just a local joint that has been there forever I think. I can tell it's getting lunch time. I'm hungry, I need to find someone to take me to lunch. I'm in the mood for Julie's Cafe. Julie is cool, she treats me right! So who wants to take me to lunch?

Your next Ohio State Buckeye in about 9 years

Let me introduce you to the next linebacker for the Ohio State Buckeyes....Well, in about 9 years. This is our son Seth. Seth is my pride and joy. It's funny how when you have a child everything about the life you once knew changes instantly. I can remember the day he was born. August 3, 1996 had to be the hottest day of the year. We walked into the hospital 2 people, but came out 3. We were never supposed to have a child. We tried for 4 years, and nothing happend. Then from the time we found out we were going to be parents there was nothing but trouble. Becky had a bad pregnancy, was on bed rest, and a few times we thought we lost that little boy. All I can say is Thank you Jesus. I know you touched that baby before he was ever born, and you seen fit to bless us with him.

Seth is now in the third grade He played football for the first time last year. It was practice 4 nights per week. On Friday he was waterboy for our High School Team. Sunday is when he played his game. We traveled to small towns all around southeast Ohio every Sunday afternoon. It was a great time. It was HOT, but Seth kept plugging along, every game doing his best. We are a football family, and can't wait until football season this year. Seth's favorite team is the Pittsburgh Steelers. I'm still trying to figure that one out, but hey it's all good. I'm sure if you keep up with my blog this fall you will see nothing but pictures of my little Hizeman Tropy Winner!

A Transformation!

Baby Cakes don't hate me for doing this. I'm just so proud of you!!! For all of you looking at these pictures, yes this is the same person. The first picture is of Becky at her RN Graduation Party a couple of years ago. The second picture is also of Becky 90 pounds lighter!!!!! She has done a fantastic job of keeping it off. I know you are asking how she done it. All I can say is LEAN CUSINE!!! She ate Lean Cusine meals everyday for every meal. She still contintues to do this a few days a week, along with her 10-20 mile bike rides 3-4 times per week. She also got her a new hair do.

I really admire this woman. First of all she has put up with
me for 20 years. Second, she saw her dream and went after it. When we were first married Becky went to work as a nursing assistant at a local nursing home. She hated it. I can remember the times she would cry cause she didn't want to go in that place, but like all newly married couples we went crazy with credit cards and were in debt up to our butts. She knew she was more than a nursing assistant, so she went to nursing school. She became an LPN in 1990. She went back to the nursing home and was a nurse in their Alzhemiers Unit for 8 years. One day she said that was it and she went to Fairfiled Medical Center as a nurse in Labor & Delivery. She was offered a scholarship to finish her nursing career. So with a 4 year old, working part time, and a physically challenged husband she went back and graduated at the top of her class in 2003. She is now back in school persuing her BSN. I don't think she will stop there. I see MSN in her future. She loves her job, and is fantastic nurse. I'm so proud of her!!!!!!!!

What is the Problem!!!

I need a few moments to vent here ok?

First thing, I went to a local restaurant yesterday and had breakfast with my son. I decided I wanted a piece of banana Cream Pie. I love banana Cream pie, but no one will make it for me. Hint, Hint, Hint!!! Becky and I had to run an errand in Lancaster today, so about 4:00 I wanted my pie. I'm all set to dive in and....What's this? NO CREAM!!! Meringue!!!! There isn't suppose to be Meringue on Banana CREAM Pie!!!! It's not as good as my mamma makes anyway! Thats a picture of my mamma on the left. She is a great cook! Guess I'll have to hit her up for a Banana Cream Pie here in the near future.

You will soon meet all my family. I will post pictures of them as I introduce you to them. They have all been really good to me. I don't know what I would have done without them. I guess now is a good time to tell you all. I was diagnosed with Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy in 1982. It has been a fun 25 years. I was walking up until the year 2004 when I decided to fall out my front door and break my leg. That did my walking in, but lets be honest. I wasn't walking to well before that. Just hard headed I guess. My life is 100% better than before. I go everywher in my motorized gimp chair. I love it.

Ok, what else was I gonna vent about... Oh, I know! I love my son with all my heart and soul, but there are times like tonight where he tests me. We have a playground across the street from our house. He wanted to go over and play. That is fine with me, until I see all these 14, & 15 year olds. Something in my gut told me to get him back to where he was safe. He was upset because I woulnd't let him "hang" with the older kids. LOL "hang"!!!! Gotta keep them safe Moms & Dads. So he is sitting here watching Big Time Wrestling. LOL

OK, thats enough for tonight. Thanks everyone for posting to my Blog. You know I think you are all great!!!

Well, due to gentle nudges from my dear wife and reading a great friends blog I decided to write one of my own. Now I can't tell you how often I will blog. I get bored with things, plus it's almost summertime and I love to be outside.

A little bit about me... I'm 41 years old. It really hurts to write that! 41 years old? I can't be! I was just 17 yesterday!!! I'm married to a great lady Becky, and we have 1 wonderful 9 year old son Seth. They are the light of my life and I really don't know what it would be like not to have them. I am a Disney World Addict. I love everything about Disney World. I love to go there, I love to plan trips for other people. I guess it's just a little obsession I have. Seth loves it as much as his old man, we are working on mom, and I think with our new purchase of Disney Vacation Club she is starting to like her Disney World too. She loves to soak up sun rays and lay by the pool and talk on her cell phone. In her words..."This is the Disney I like". Becky will always be a sun Goddess.

Here are a few pictures from our most recent trip:
